Having grown up mostly in Cape Town, Richard matriculated at Grey in PE. He then went on to study at Hotel Institute Montreux in Switzerland for 3 years. After graduating, he spent a lot of time in Europe, especially France, Spain, and Sweden as well as one year in the States. He returned to Cape Town in Feb 2009 and is excited to get his hands dirty.
Sarie Jacobs will make you feel right at home. Over the years she has become famous for her fantastic service and as a result has developed a huge fan club! On invitation of some of De Waterkant House’s regular guests she even traveled to Holland to visit them.

Reservations Manager - Wendy Alison Fisk
Wendy grew up and matriculated in Milnterton, Cape Town. After studying at Granger Bay Hotel School, she spent 2 years abroad, working in England and France. She has been involved in various aspects of the hospitality industry, and her passion for the business has brought her to Village & Life, where she joined the company as reservations manager. She loves running and relaxing with a good book. She stays in Hout Bay.
Patricia Voegt was born in Bonteheuwel in Cape Town and spent her childhood there, matriculating from Garlandale High School. Patricia is married and has two daughters, aged 13 and 2 years old. Patricia enjoys reading and dancing and has been with Village and Life for two years.
Debbie matriculated from St John’s Diocesan School for Girls in Pietermaritzburg. After school she obtained her BComm Degree from the University of Port Elizabeth.
She started working in Cape Town in 1997 in the finance field and after 3 years worked independently as a freelance accountant for 7 years. Debbie started at Village & Life in January 2009 as the accountant for Mouille Point & De Waterkant Villages. She lives in Camps Bay and is an abstract oil painter and she plays a couple of musical instruments, her favourite being the bongo drum.
