De Waterkant House is a 18th century Cape-Georgian style heritage house with original wide plank floors, fireplaces and sash windows, nestled in De Waterkant, one of the oldest and well-preserved neighbourhoods in the heart of Cape Town. Fully restored interiors celebrate local design and craftmanship in harmony with curated old Cape antiques.
Facilities and Services
Fall into deep sofas and classic armchairs adorned with locally sourced linens and cottons. After a day of exploring the Mother City, there is no better place than the splash pool to cool off during the hot summer months. The wrap-around terrace is sunny and makes the ideal spot for al-fresco dining amongst potted citrus trees year-round.

We highly recommend this place!
The house is great with all we needed, newly renovated, comfortable and perfectly located. All of us enjoyed the stay that is perfectly suitable for a weekend, longer vacation or like us for work. There are plenty of places for sitting and working or having online meetings. The hosts were the best: super helpful, arranging and proactive in all aspects.
